DANBURY, Conn. – The Roger Williams University Women's Rugby club lost to Western Connecticut State 20-15 on Saturday, Oct. 15th. 

Despite a great first half in which the Hawks scored three tries to take a 15-5 lead, WCSU took command of the second half and scored three unanswered tries, the final score sealing the win with only a minute to go.

Wings Mikaela Feroli and Cat Baer, and flanker and captain Steph Grodeska all scored for the Hawks. The loss gives RWU a 2-1 record.

Next Saturday RWU travels to the University of Hartford.
