Ellis Named Male Athlete of the Week

BRISTOL, R.I. – Roger Williams University has name Men’s Cross Country runner Jonathan Ellis (Yonkers, N.Y.) as the Male Athlete of the Week. Ellis put on an impressive performance at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational this past weekend.
For the second week in a row, Ellis was named the TCCC runner of the week for his showing at UMass Dartmouth. Ellis was the first TCCC runner to cross the line, placing 58th out of 262 runners, with a time of 26:14. Ellis’ time helped the team finish in 17th out of 37 teams, the best of any TCCC team represented.
Ellis and the Hawks Cross Country team are in action next at the Pop Crowell Invitational which is hosted by Gordon College, on October 3rd.
