BRISTOL,RI- Roger Williams University junior Jonathan Ellis (Yonkers, N.Y) was named TCCC Runner of the Week after contributing to the Hawks third place win by placing seventh out of 86 runners in the RWU Invitational held at Colt State Park.
Ellis crossed the finish line with a time of 16:30.10, receiving seven points towards the Hawks win.
A week prior to the RWU Invitational, Ellis displayed his skills at the Bryant University Invitational held in Smithfield, RI. at the Hawks’ first meet of the season. Ellis completed the Mens 5000 meter run in 17:37.42, finishing 25th out of 66.
The Hawks’ next meet will be hosted by the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth on Saturday the 19th at 12:00 p.m.
