BRISTOL, R.I.- Freshman Ursula Nickerson (Torrington, Conn.) was named RWU Female Athlete of the Week Monday after her strong performance at Trinity College last weekend.

Nickerson, competing in four of Saturday's races, recorded two first-place finishes and two third-place finishes against a strong Trinity team.

She helped the 200 Yard Medley team to a first place finish with a time of 2:00.5 before also taking first place in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:11.97. In the 100 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Butterfly, Nickerson took third with times of 59.49 and 1:06.16, respectively.

This marks Nickerson's second RWU Female Athlete of the Week award, having also earned the award Dec. 8.

Nickerson and the Hawks are off until the NEISDA Championships, Feb. 20-22, at UMass-Dartmouth.
