ITHACA, N.Y.- The RWU wrestling team posted a sixth-place finish Sunday at the Ithaca College Invitational, totaling 83.5 points while three nationally-ranked teams took the top three spots. Senior tri-captain Nick Cambi (Cohasset, Mass.) led RWU, going 4-0 to win the 197 championship.
Cambi sent the field a message in his first match of the tournament, needing just 34 seconds to pin his opponent and advance into the quarterfinals. There he met Johnston & Wales' Bill Mulligan and earned the 6-1 victory before defeating Cortland's third-ranked Carl Korpi, 11-6.
