Leveille named RWU Male Athlete of the Week
BRISTOL, R.I. - The Roger Williams University Athletics Department has named Men’s Cross Country runner Mitch Leveille (North Kingstown, R.I.) as the Male Athlete of the Week for his performance over the weekend. Leveille led the Men’s team to its ninth consecutive TCCC title.
Over the weekend the Men’s Cross Country team was at the TCCC Championships in Springfield, Mass. where they were able to secure the win with three team members among the top four finishers. Leveille shared the lead for most of the race, and led the team to victory behind his second place finish. This is his second time being named RWU Male Athlete of the Week this season.
Leveille and the rest of the team will next be in action at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships on Saturday in Williamstown, Mass., hosted by Williams College.
