Klein named RWU Female Athlete of the Week
BRISTOL, R.I. – Women’s tennis freshman Tracy Klein (New City, N.Y.) was named RWU Female Athlete of the Week after posting a perfect 5-0 record in the team’s final week of the regular season.
Klein helped the team to a 2-1 record on the week and a fifth-seed in the upcoming TCCC Championship. She earned two straight-set victories at #2 singles in a 5-4 loss to Nichols and an 8-1 win at Gordon. She also partnered with Amanda Wolfe to earn a 3-0 weekly tally at #2 doubles.
Klein and the team begin their playoff run Wednesday as they travel to Western New England College for a 2 p.m. match.
