Hawks Cheerleading holding upcoming clinic
BRISTOL, R.I. - The Roger Williams University Cheerleading team is holding an open clinic to all RWU full-time students with cheerleading or gymnastic experience. The clinic will be held Wednesday, September 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Field House in the Campus Recreation Center, with registration begins at 6:30 p.m.
During the tryout, participants will be asked to perform three jumps, a cheer or chant, and a tumbling pass or standing tumbling of their choice. Additionally, a dance will be taught and participants will be asked to stunt so that the coaching can assess their abilities. Towards the end of the clinic, participants will be interviewed. Results will be released shortly thereafter.
