Baseball ECAC games postponed

BRISTOL, R.I.- Games scheduled for Friday's portion of the Eastern College Athletic Conference New England Baseball Championship have been postponed until Saturday due to rain. With the loss of a day of play, the tournament will take on a single elimination format.

BRISTOL, R.I.- The Roger Williams University women’s lacrosse team (14-4) defeated visiting Worcester State College (9-6), 17-2, Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England Women’s Lacrosse Championship. Freshman Claire Halliday (Trenton, N.J.) tallied an RWU record 11 points in the contest with six goals and five assists.

Men's Tennis receives first-ever ITA ranking

BRISTOL, R.I.- The Roger Williams men's tennis team can add another accomplishment to the list for the 2007-08 season: achieving the team's first-ever Intercollegiate Tennis Association ranking. The team was ranked 21st in the April 29 ITA Division III Northeast region rankings.
