Anne Marie Shaughnessy

Anne Marie Shaughnessy began her responsibilities as Assistant Coach of the Roger Williams University Women’s Volleyball team in 2005, having helped guide the Hawks into the TCCC postseason during each of her seven years.

Shaughnessy has been involved in volleyball for many years.   From 1994-2004, she served as the Head Coach of the girls’ volleyball team at Lincoln high school.  Shaughnessy has also served as an assistant with the girls’ volleyball program at LaSalle Academy

She has worked a multitude of camps and clinics, instructing at Brown, URI, and the Gold Medal Squared Camp, and the World Scholar-Athlete Games, held at URI in 1998. In addition to her responsibilities at Roger Williams, Shaughnessy currently coaches with the Rhode Island Blast program.

Shaughnessy graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Management Science.
