Roebuck takes second straight TCCC weekly honor
BRISTOL, R.I.—Junior goalkeeper Tyler Roebuck (Montgomery, N.Y.) of the Roger Williams University Men’s Lacrosse team was named TCCC Defensive Player of the Week for the second-straight week after his outstanding play against Salve Regina this past weekend.
Roebuck made an impressive 25 saves against the fifth-seeded Seahawks Saturday in the quarterfinals of the TCCC Postseason Tournament. While playing the entire 60 minutes, he registered a .694 save percentage in Roger Williams’ 12-11 victory, propelling RWU into the TCCC Semifinals.
Roebuck and the Hawks will take on Endicott on Wednesday, May 5th to determine who will compete for the TCCC Championship title.
