BRISTOL, R.I.—Junior goalkeeper Tyler Roebuck (Montgomery, N.Y.) of the Roger Williams University Men's Lacrosse team was named TCCC Defensive Player of the Week for the second-straight week after his outstanding play against Salve Regina this past weekend.
Roebuck made an impressive 25 saves against the fifth-seeded Seahawks Saturday in the quarterfinals of the TCCC Postseason Tournament. While playing the entire 60 minutes, he registered a .694 save percentage in Roger Williams' 12-11 victory, propelling RWU into the TCCC Semifinals.
Roebuck and the Hawks will take on Endicott on Wednesday, May 5th to determine who will compete for the TCCC Championship title.
