BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Rugby Club earned its second straight win with a 17-10 victory over Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

Roger Williams opened the game early with a try and a conversion with a score of 7-0.  Then Pat Allen then kicked a penalty goal to bring the score to 10-0. 

Turnovers again stopped the Hawks from scoring at least three tries in the first half.  A couple of offside calls and a missed tackle put Mass Maritime on the board with five points. 

At halftime the Hawks made some adjustments and came out strong with a quick score and conversion to make it 17-5, then 17-10. A missed penalty goal along with 3 dropped balls for scores kept the game close.
