FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Roger Williams’ Dave Hurley (Hanover, Mass.) scored two goals and Beaver Barone (Weymouth, Mass.) notched a goal and an assist for the East but wasn’t enough as the West earned a 17-11 victory in the 2009 Turfer/New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association East-West All-Star Game Sunday at Tufts University. Also seeing action for the Hawks in the game was fellow senior Mike Horan (Acton, Mass.).
