BRISTOL, R.I.- The Roger Williams University women’s lacrosse team (14-4) defeated visiting Worcester State College (9-6), 17-2, Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England Women’s Lacrosse Championship. Freshman Claire Halliday (Trenton, N.J.) tallied an RWU record 11 points in the contest with six goals and five assists.

Men's Tennis | 5.7.2008
BRISTOL, R.I.- The Roger Williams men's tennis team can add another accomplishment to the list for the 2007-08 season: achieving the team's first-ever Intercollegiate Tennis Association ranking.  The team was ranked 21st in the April 29 ITA Division III Northeast region rankings.

Sailing | 5.6.2008
PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Roger Williams has had three sailors named to the All- New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association’s second team.  Senior Andrew Goetting (Point Pleasant, N.J.) and junior Matthew Duggan (Sandwich, Mass.) were named All-NEISA skippers, while junior Kaytlin Hall (Los Angeles, Calif.) was honored as an All-NEISA crew.
