QUINCY, Mass. - Eastern Nazarene College squared off with the Roger Williams University Men's Basketball team on Wednesday night in the Lahue Physical Education Center. Despite a valiant and hard fought second-half comeback effort, the Lions fell to the Hawks 63-57 in regulation.

QUINCY, Mass. – Eastern Nazarene faced Roger Williams to open the second half of conference play at the Lahue Physical Education Center on Wednesday night. The first contest between the two teams in Bristol, R.I. on November 30, 2011 resulted in a tough overtime loss for the Lions. Wednesday's rematch was all RWU, as the Hawks locked down a decisive 72-49 victory.

BRISTOL, R.I. - Roger Williams University Women's Basketball sophomore Kaitlyn Bovee (Berlin, Conn.) has been named Roger Williams University Female Athlete of the Week for the period ending January 17th.
Bovee averaged 17.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game over three contests, where she was one rebound shy of two double-doubles. She tallied 13 points, four rebounds and one assists in a 67-60 win over Curry College. She then recorded 20 points, 9 rebounds and three assist in a 43-46 loss to Gordon College. Against Wentworth, she tallied 19 points, 14 rebounds and five assists in a 63-46 win.
Bovee and the Hawks return to CCC play on Thursday when the Hawks host Western New England University at 6:00 p.m.

Men's Basketball
Roger Williams University Men's Basketball senior forward Pat Flanagan (Somerville, Mass.) has been named Roger Williams University Male Athlete of the Week for the period ending January 17th.
Flanagan averaged 16.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game over three contests, where he scored an overall total of 49 points. He tallied 26 points, five rebounds and two blocks in a 61-69 loss to Curry. Against Gordon, he recorded 19 points, 3 rebounds and one block in a 62-77 loss. In the final game of the week, he tallied four points, nine rebounds and one assist in a 59-56 win over Wentworth.
Flanagan and the Hawks return to CCC play on Thursday when the Hawks host Western New England University at 8:00 p.m.
